Help Support a Second Access Road to Vandegrift

LISD has been working for a number of years to get approval for a second access road to Vandegrift High School and Four Points Middle Schools. This road is critical for the safety of area school children for a number of reasons. The campuses are surrounded by the BCCP and there is only one way in and out of the complex presently. This presents acute issues for safety, emergency access and egress and also has a high cost on a daily basis to area families as they attempt to access these schools through extreme traffic congestion.

This effort has culminated with an application at the US Fish and Wildlife Service which is in need of appropriate consideration in Washington D.C. LISD is asking for help in a campaign to encourage our political representatives to support the efforts of the district to get approval. Please take some time to share this message with your friends and neighbors.
