Widening Quinlan Park Rd Toward River Ridge Elementary
An agenda item for the 2/21/12 Travis County Commissioners Court meeting has been proposed; to review the widening of Quinlan Park Rd toward River Ridge Elementary.
TNR Public Works (Transportation and Natural Resources) staff has recommended using up to $500,000 of the 2001 Bond Precinct Two projects savings for engineering services and construction costs for the Quinlan Park Road Improvements project. The proposed project improvements are widening of Quinlan Park Road between Bella Mar and Tierra Grande, approximately 1,800 feet long. From the agenda proposal:
“A center turn lane is needed to relieve traffic congestions during morning and afternoon peak hours. As requested by the community, TNR is scheduling to have the construction done during the school summer break provided that the design can be done in a timely fashion and weather is cooperating during the construction.”
